Program Description: Canada’s Start-Up Visa Program allows immigrant entrepreneurs to obtain permanent residence in Canada by establishing an innovative business that has support from a designated organization and meets requirements.
Program Changes: As of January 1, 2026, the Start-Up Visa Program is paused and no longer accepts new commitment certificates; applicants with valid 2025 commitment certificates must apply by June 30, 2026.
