Program Description: The Malaysia Tech Entrepreneur Programme is a government initiative designed to attract technology entrepreneurs, experienced founders and investors to establish or expand technology businesses in Malaysia. Visa Duration: The programme offers a one year Professional Visit Pass for new entrepreneurs and a five year Residence Pass for established entrepreneurs.

Program Structure: The programme includes categories for new tech entrepreneurs, established tech entrepreneurs and technology investors who plan to build or expand technology companies in Malaysia.

Financial Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate financial capability, including maintaining at least MYR 50,000 in personal bank accounts for a minimum of three months before application.

Dependents: Established entrepreneur passes allow the holder to bring family members including spouse and children as dependents.

Application Process: Applications are assessed by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation and approved passes are issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department.
