Program Description: Egypt grants residence permits to foreign investors who establish or participate in investment projects registered with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI). The permit allows entrepreneurs and investors to reside in Egypt while operating their investment project.
Residence Duration: Investor residence permits may initially be granted for one year and can later be renewed for longer periods depending on the seriousness and continuation of the investment project.
Extended Residence: Regulations allow diligent investors implementing their projects to obtain residence permits valid for up to five consecutive years, renewable for similar periods while the project continues.
